Mods Folders

The idea is relatively simple, i have a large amount of mods installed for the game, and it's getting difficult to keep track of them all, i have tried putting them into folders manually in the files but that does not seem to work, so my suggestion is this:
Have a way for the players to either make folders in game so they can organize their mods, or have it work in the files as folders there, either one would be fine with me personally but it's a feature that i think would help massively as i have to scroll for quite a few moments to find what i think is the right mod but i'm not even sure sometimes because of how many i have installed. And with how active the modding community is for your game, it makes alot of sense that it would benefit them too.

One scenario that comes up often is multiple mods from the same creator, such as Ion, old_dan, and JJ. While I could frankenstein mods together, this breaks the concept of acts and levels. All of these unrelated levels are shown in the same act. I would then need to edit the configs to display them in the proper order. This is very unintuitive and the result is unsatisfactory.
Adding one additional layer of grouping would solve this. I personally feel that grouping should be possible both in-game and outside by doing the following:
- The outmost folder would contain a group.cfg and thumbnail. From outside the game, users can drop their mods into the folder containing these things.
- From inside the game, the game would create the folder with its group.cfg, then prompt the user to select which mods to move to it. The mods should be physically moved within filesystem.
